Dr. Koh specializes in cosmetic and reconstructive surgery of the eyelids, orbits and tear ducts.


Dr.  Koh graduated in 1986 from Rhodes College, earning a Bachelor of Science degree with Honors, Magna Cum Laude, majoring in Chemical Biology. He entered the University of Louisville School of Medicine that year, achieving the Doctor of Medicine degree in 1990, Summa Cum Laude, with a class rank of 4 of 113 students. He trained as an intern at the University of Louisville School of Medicine Department of Internal Medicine the following year. Dr. Koh received ophthalmology residency training at the Eye Foundation Hospital/University of Alabama Birmingham School of Medicine from 1991-1994. He completed fellowship training in his specialty of ophthalmic plastic, orbital and reconstructive surgery at the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary, Manhattan Eye, Ear and Throat Hospital, Mt. Sinai Medical Center and New York University Hospitals from 1994-1995. Dr. Koh is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology.


Having performed thousands of procedures, Dr. Koh is recognized as an expert surgeon by his patients, students and colleagues. He actively teaches medical students and ophthalmology residents at the Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine and the Beaumont Eye Institute. He is a Clinical Associate Professor at the Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine and a Clinical Assistant Professor at Wayne State University School of Medicine.


Dr. Koh is an active volunteer at the local and national levels. He is a member of Eyecare America, an organization which provides ophthalmic care to underserved populations of people. He is the Scoutmaster of Boy Scout Troop 263, an Associate Advisor of Boy Scout Venture Crew 179 and an active leader at Trinity in the Woods Episcopal Church, all in Farmington Hills, Michigan.


Dr. Koh is a member of the American Medical Association (Life Member), American Academy of Ophthalmology, American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic Surgery, Michigan State Medical Society, Michigan Society of Eye Physicians and Surgeons and Oakland County Medical Society.
